Undesirable area.

As for me, the location is marvellous, right in the city center. Also it is short walk to the centre of Madrid and main metro stations and many tourist spots.

The room was new-fashioned with a bath and with smoke detectors for safety measures. Had a terrace and an ironing set. The location was particularly good close to centre 10 minute walk to Sol metro.
-
David
Spotless and relaxing unit with minibar, all comfort plus huge bathroom. Qualified and excellent staff on reception and elsewhere. Good location, just walking distance from everywhere. Besides, easy to get to a huge plaza.

Marcel
Queen room with double bed + an extra bed was the best. The hotel had a particularly good and magnificent location an easy walk to a vast pedestrianized public square.
-
Scott
The rooms were great-sized and relaxing, included a safe box, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and a mini bar fridge.
Their staff were miserable.

Staff is qualified and you can park your car onsite.

The hotel was a decent base for enjoying a shopping area, near restaurants and cafes, all the relevant monuments, and whole Madrid and Spain in general. I took a queen room with a separate sitting area, an extra bed, for example. The venue was reasonably priced and modern and in a very central location.
The staff - some of them were miserable.

Elizabeth

The hotel of choice in Madrid. Highly courteous staff and silent accommodation. Fairly clean bathroom, spotless, new-fashioned room. Really nice beds and an electronic key card, a work desk and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels.
